MyBB Community Forums

I'm well-experienced with MyBB's install process as well as common routines to attempt a safer, secure, and dependable MyBB install - however it's been sometime since I've come out of my virtual 6x6 sandbox (localhost) and into the 3,629,360 sq mile Sahara Desert. I would like a refresher and for everyone else to benefit from a instructional tutorial of how to prep, install, and maintain a secure MyBB board.

Would anyone with the knowledge and expertise pitch in a stress-saver contribution? I've scoured the search for posts, can't seem to find a decent documented one.
