Whenever I activate search engine friendly URLs from ACP Server & Optimization settings, i get my board url like this www.mysitename.com/network/forum-1.html

But when i click on URL, it gives 404 error page in my parent blog directory. My parent blog is hosted in root domain http://www.mysitename.com/

After changing to SEO URL's i have cleared cookies, caches too, but error is still there. and to maintain my forum without errors, the SEO URLs are disabled now.

I own my board at http://gujaratisansar.com/network/ It's in local language. My MYBB version is 1.6.8


PS: I have attached screenshot of my .htaccess file in attachment.

Please someone help, its serious matter about our SEO problem. If anyone have difficulties about language of board, then i can enable English there.

Have you activated the setting from admin panel like this attachment?
And rename the htaccess.txt to .htaccess?

If yes, then ask your host for Apache Mod-Rewrite support.

yep have renamed .htaccess and enabled SEO URLs too.
My host is HostGator..
Let me contact them...

I forget to say that i already added test forum in sub domain under same host and domain.
but SEO URL are working there
