Lets say I have a blog powered by drupal or some other software, what is the best method for the removal of it?

Should I just delete the file in my file manager?

What about the database?

What about the database username/password details?

If we are not using it and is just sitting there does it matter, or should we remove those files/softwares that we are not using?

Delete all files inside public_html and delete the database.

Yes, it's recommended to delete everyhing.

Unless the user is assigned to another database in use.
