When I try adding a new user group I get this error.

There is not option to add stars or any thing else when usually adding a user group. Did not see this error until 1.6.9

It seems you did not run the upgrade script when you upgraded.

I am pretty sure I did.. is there a way to fix this?

You need to run the upgrade script. The new columns don't exist.

I ran the script and it relocked... still does not work.
