So what should i do, i don't have a VPN, just shared webhosting.

This issue should be fixed in 1.6.10. In the meantime, it may be worth contacting your host and asking them if they could move you to a server which has PHP 5.3, providing they have one.

I went on other forums, with the same web hosting, and they didn't have a problem.. This is only happening to the index page and the registered group.
