Is it possible to have a MyBB login page embedded in a WordPress widget where the user could supply their info and be logged into the MyBB forum. I want MyBB to do it's own authentication.
Once logged in, the widget would display their info such as user name, reputation, and other attributes?
I am not looking for any integration of WordPress and MyBB accounts and I do not want any WordPress comments being written to MyBB.
This is simply the same type of info located in the header_welcomeblock_guest template (formatted to fit a widget). And then something very similar to the header_welcomeblock_member template once the login is successful.
The WordPress site is http://www.example.com and the MyBB site is located at http://forum.example.com.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
Nobody has ever had to do something like this before?
Will an iframe work if I change up the templates in MyBB to look like what I want?
