Full Version: Undefined post message and PM message? (I am on 1.6.9)

There's 1 user who keeps getting "undefined" as his message in both posts and PMs.

It only happens when he posts from his laptop which runs Windows and uses Firefox browser. I am unsure of the version of Win or FF.

Yes, I am on the latest MyBB version.

Is there an undefined bug on the latest upgrade that is specific to certain versions of Firefox? Is there a known fix?
Is it between a mycode or the whole message?
The entire message in a post.

The entire message in a PM.

When this error happens, NONE of the content of the post or PM comes through.
It's an issue with the user, not MyBB.

The specific post your link directs to tells me something I can't make heads or tails out of. What was the actual answer?

This is the post your link went to:

Paul, first of all thank you so much for your assistance over there on FB.

I discovered that the use of Freecorder 6 did a huge mess in my board making the ACP going crazy deleting templates and codes, and also making me look over here really bad with those "Undefined" posts over here, including private messages sent. Just imagine...me desperate with no Index and not able to ask for help here. Thank you really.

Kindest Regards.

I'm not sure if I'm just over tired, but I have NO clue what that means. It sounds like a solution was reached on FB but I don't see the solution...

What does the user with the problem need to do if it's a user issue? The quoted post above sounds like the owner of their forum just had some kind of addon that ruined his coding? I can't make out the solution...
The user has this installed: http://freecorder.com/

They need to remove that from their computer.
Ah, thank you! I will let this user know and see if he has that on his laptop. Smile
