That is a theme you downloaded right? The default theme doesn't have that.
What is the name of the theme, or you can send me a message with the link to your forum.

I made a theme from scratch using a tutorial, but the tutorial doesnt tell me what box to add color to the text in the style sheet of simple mode that affects the area in the screenshot.
I believe this has to do with the containers color. Did you add any color to your #container in your themes global.css?

Try smalltext or smalltext2 in global.css
That wasn't it, the smalltext only changed the color of the small text underneath the forums descriptions and all other small text at the far bottom that is currently for board statitcs and the such.
Oh I see your boards text color is black as well as your background color so that's the problem. On your gray part of the forum (trows) the black part is visible because it has a light background.
To change the color, you would have to change the boards text color.
In your #container, change the color to any light color OR add a light background image.
Alt. for changing color in container is to go to global.css in advanced mode and find the following by #container.
color: #000000;
Change it to anything you like.
Neither solutions worked.
