Upon installing the Apart Night theme, we decided to attempt to configure the theme by changing the colour to a lighter blue. We partially succeeded, as on other computers and devices, the light blue colour appears however on the computer on which it was changed it continues to be the original colour. The website on a separate computer can be seen in this print screen:

We would like to know how to permanently change the theme colour to the light blue.

We would also like to know how to how to get the user information across the top instead of on the side, as it currently can be seen here:

Press CTRL+F5 - clear the browser cache on the computer with issues.

That's a setting, it's the modern/horizontal postbit. Admin CP > Configuration > Show Thread Options > Display posts using the horizontal postbit layout.

I refreshed, and now the Forums are appearing to be the blue we want on every computer and device in our household. So, we're not complaining that we accidentally achieved what we were trying to do. Though, when visiting the Forums for the first time on a computer or device, there is a second where the original Night colours are there, though it quickly changes.

Now, we would like to fix the one second of the original night theme, or should we not risk our chances?

I also tried the setting, I stumbled across it, though it didn't seem to change anything, at all.

You don't get the new postbit layout because the setting applies for only new members.

It does not overwrite old configurations.

You have to change it in the User Control Panel.
