Hi,

I did installed mybb and I want to know whether I should delete the entire install directory or not ?

Also should I CHMOD config.php to 444 to ensure maximum security ??

It's not a requirement as the installer locks itself after installation. It isn't a requirement to keep it after installation either.

Not necessary, just 'deny from all' everything in the /inc directory.
