How to create forum and then sub forum such tha user can only post new thread into that sub forum not main forum...

In the permissions for the forum, slide the option to create a new thread to the right side (off) and save it, but make sure you leave the "view" option on the left side (on).

Then in that sub forum, just make sure creating a thread and posting replies is left on the left side (on) and it should work.

No not working ... after adding sub forums new thread option is still coming in main forum..

Well, the new thread link will still be there I think... but when a regular user clicks on it they should get the no permissions page.

Make sure you individually specify for each type of user, if they can post or not. Just slide ALL of them to the right side for the main forum to turn off posting. The link WILL still be there in my experience, but they'll get a no permission page if they click it.

Test it on yourself by sliding the admin permissions for creating a thread to "off" and click that link yourself. I think you will also see the no permission page then too.

This was how I accomplished the exact thing you're trying to do.
