Ok I've installed and activated the plugin. The readme was confusing with the part where you need to upload the folder for the resizer class but I managed to find help on that on the forums here.

So the plugin says its working fine, but its not re-sizing any images new or previous. I tried running the "rebuild attachment thumbnails" through the tools and maintenance tab but that didn't help anything. Neither attached or linked images are being re-sized. Anyone know how to fix this?

Unfortunately, most of the image resizer plugins are very outdated now. I struggled with this quite a bit in my new site design. I'd suggest using the above linked plugin (Fit On Page). Alternately, you can use the Highslide plugin as well (I chose this one myself) if you don't mind a couple of minor annoyances like sigs being resized and small images not being skipped over for the zoom effect. You can get around the signature resizing with a little code, though I still haven't figured out how to skip over smaller images.

@Kylin - Guess I could try it. Better than no re-sizing. Its a private forum so no worries about sigs for us. Thanks for the reference.
