I tried Newpoints' Plugin Subscription Module.

Using my admin account I subscribe to change primary group. When I try to login to my AdminCP, I can no longer access it.

You can give yourself access again by editing your user account through phpMyAdmin. Go to the table mybb_users and change your usergroup id.
