Hi,

I today upgraded my other forum.. but I got an error during the installation process: (at the bottom of the page) settings.php is not writable or something like that.

And I had some (54) plugins activated during the installation.. how can I see what went wrong?

Ensure inc/settings.php and inc/config.php is CHMODed to 666 or 777.

Are you able to access your Admin CP? Can you make sure that the settings are ok in there, and that the new settings have been synced up (ie. you can check the login max attempts setting, etc)? If so, just click "update settings" on any setting group and the inc/settings.php should be regenerated.
