I am using MyBB 1.6.5
I was wandering if their are any mods/code edits that will allow me to give certain usergroups different background colors.

I've tried the: Group Post CSS mod, but I can figure out how to edit the CSS.

I will try just about anything.

Frist question why you use 1.6.5? You should upgrade your forum soon as possible.

I use 1.6.5 because when I try to upload the newest version I get an error, so I said,
eh what the f-ck, all the themes and plugins are working with my version so IDC

What error do you get? That's good, but also with 1.6.9 they will work. You should not risk your from safety for that reason.

I am using nazuka to host my forum, and the error I'm getting is:
"Unable to connect to backend server" or something like that

Really strange. Ask your host about that error, because that is not MyBB related.

You're seriously putting your forum at risk. Many vulnerabilities, both low and high risk, have been found since 1.6.5 was released. I have to insist you upgrade as soon as possible. We're happy to provide you with the support needed to upgrade but I cannot stress how important it is that you do.

May I ask what problems have been found?

From 1.6.5 to 1.6.8 (take a look on the list of links i posted down, and you will see on each of them how much vulnerabilites have been found):

If I install the newest version, I will also have to install all my plugins over again, plus I just fixed the problem I was having. Mehhhh

That's the only thing making me not want to install it...
plus the stupid error.
