I would like to integrate mybb in wordpress.

I would like my forum to show up in a page inside my blog, and also that when user registers in blog the user is also created in mybb, but other than that i want to keep them separate i dont want to show mybb posts in wp or viceversa. I have tried with iframe but its too crappy. Tanks

For the needs you specified, there is ABSOLUTELY no other way.

visual integration
IIRC, some of the essential php functions in WordPress and MyBB have exact same names
and conflicts occur when we try to integrate. there is no easy method to overcome them.
but we can use html code and css to add WordPress header to MyBB.

single sign on
I do not understand why this is needed. a forum might consist of thousands of members.
we do not need all of them as blog authors. however there was a plugin which disabled
registrations in WordPress and used MyBB credentials. I hope that plugin can be improved.
