does anybody know how to make a page that shows the latest posts of the forums?

Or is there any plugin out there that can be used for this? I mean, in a separate page.

It's a good idea but I need something that gives me more results. Lastest 48h should be fine. Getdaily function would work

I have something a bit like that, but it does not support all the things that forumdisplay does - no thread icons or unread indicators.

You can just use this link:

http://yoursite.com/search.php?action=getdaily&days=7

Change "days" to however many you want. You can probably use the Template Conditionals plugin to adjust the layout for this.
