I want to make it so users of a certain group can only post in one predefined thread. An example I have admin activation set and would like it so members of this group can post in the account activation thread and only in this thread. I know they could email me or set it so they can only pm the admin.
You could create a forum that they can see, remove the ability to start new threads, then post the "activation" thread yourself. They will be able to post new replies, but not new threads.

There is no way in the delivered version of MyBB. You may be able to write some kind of plugin to do it though.
Does anyone know if there is a existing plugin that does what I require as I'm not a programmer
