Can anyone mention what are the steps we should follow to save our Website/Forum from being Hacked by someone.

A quick search on Google gave me loads of helpful sites, this among them:

1.Keep your mybb version update
2. Make sure to use strong password (use http://www.strongpasswordgenerator.com/)

4. Don't use nulled plugins/themes

Adding to this.

6. Make sure your host doesn't allow symbolic linking.
7. Make sure your computer isn't infected with any kind of spyware.
8. Promote members to S.mod or Admin only if you trust them.
