after running the recount & rebuild tool.
I don't see any forums on my forum that do not count towards a user's post count so I'm not sure why their post count would decrease after running the tool.
when a user deletes a thread/post, it automatically gets sent to a specific forum on the site. that forum is set to count towards a user's post count.
