I have a group on my forum and I have made a member the moderator for his own group. But he shows up on the forum team page. Is there anyway to remove that? He isn't a super moderator or a normal moderator. He is just the owner of the group so he moderates the stuff in it.
For that group, did you sticked the option "Show on forum team page" ?
Actually when you make some user a moderator of some forum they are then in moderators group because they have their privileges but only for that forum.

Check that for the moderator group and if it's ticked untick it.
