So weird. Last night, it worked fine, today, it's not working at all.

I went in to modify the CSS on a theme I uploaded, but as soon as I click on the css in the editor, it disappears and is replaced by a line of code that came from who knows where...

The theme appears to have uploaded fine, except it will not allow me to edit.

You mean to say that entire code of global.css is shown in a single line in advanced mode

YES. With lots of red and blue, and only a portion of the code.

I'm hoping this doesn't mean I have to uninstall and reinstall MyBB again. I've done so like 3 times now.

And, this is not specific to the theme itself. This is happening with every theme I've uploaded.

Try disabling CodePress:

ACP > Preferences > Turn on / off Codepress = Off
