Hi Guys,

New to this forum so firstly HI!!

I've just installed MyBB on a Linux Centos install - working fine.


I then changed the Server IP address and MyBB now does not load past displaying the Title in web browser.
* I can ping the server.
* If I change IP address back forum starts working fine again.

Is there some where I need to change the IP address within a configuration file?

Are you viewing the forum via the IP, or a domain?

via IP address at the moment as in a private environment for staging.

Any one got any ideas what this maybe?

Haven't yet had a chance to do any more investigation into this myself yet.

What do you have in the board URL setting? (Admin CP, Configuration, Settings, General Configuration)

Place a simple txt file in the root directory and see if you can access it. If you can't then the problem is your setup and not related to MyBB at all.

I made no changes here at all so would have original - possibly old IP address.

I will check these over and change before changing server IP

Are these settings saved in a XML/Config file somewhere I can change via CLI do you know?
