Have looked at many threads on here on this subject - it seems there is a common issue that hasn't been sorted out.
My syndication url - http://www.octarine-services.co.uk/forum...p?limit=15 - doesn't work with Google reader running on Firefox / Ubuntu - it says "no items in feed" Feeds from other websites DO work on Firefox / Ubuntu.
However it does work perfectly on Internet Explorer / Windows XP!
It also works with the Blackberry App Generator - http://blackberryappgenerator.com but not the IOS App generator - http://www.appmakr.com
This seems to be some sort of compatability issue with the feed - my feed validates OK with http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=h...cation.php except for a comment re "Missing atom:link with rel="self" " I can't see how an Atom link in an RSS 2.0 feed is relevant!
Looking at the text of the xml, it seems far more complicated than the example at http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2002/12/18/dive-into-xml.html
Is it possible to simplify the feed or otherwise make it work with these other systems?
