Recently the MyBB General Discussion forum has seen a large increase in threads asking for web host recommendations. In an attempt to consolidate all these threads (which always get the same response) into a single thread I have created this thread.
First, I would like to remind users that if you are looking for a webhost, specialist forums like Web Hosting Talk are usually much better places to ask as the people there have far more experience in this field; however if you prefer to, check out the list here too.
If you would like a webhost added to the list, PM it to Imad Jomaa (with the subject "webhost") and he will add it along with the name of the user who suggested it. Likewise, if you find any dead links here, let him know and he'll remove them. DO NOT PM any other staff, they will likely kill you. Be sure to read the quoted guideline(s) below if you're suggesting your own host.
Finally, the MyBB Group in no way endorses these hosts or implies that they are MyBB compatible. This is simply a list of hosts suggested, and used by, our members.

They have found an interesting set up which is like a hybrid between shared and VPS. You get a dedicated amount of ram for your programs, but things like Apache and PHP don't account towards that (you can buy more ram or upgrade to a dedicated as well). You get full SSH access(well in your directory but it's enough to install what you need) although they already support most languages included Ruby, PHP, Perl, Java, and Python."

Comments: "Right up there with Linode IMO. They're a little less known but the service is just as amazing. I never used the ticket system but only because I had no real issues. Not to mention if I ever did have a small one the owners were usually sitting in IRC just chatting about servers and web dev. Overall 10/10 and probably a better place to start than linode since they have a 256mb plan (which is more than enough for nginx/PHP/MySQL)."
