As guest it shows its gone, but as soon as i login with my test account the searchbox appears in the thread again!
What's going on? Where else is this thing hiding?
I edited forumdisplay_threadlist and removed it from there...
Okay well I was growing impatient lol... I figured it out. Apparently removing from the forumdisplay_threadlist template alone will ONLY remove it for guests
Removing {$search_thread} from showthread will reomve it from the thread completely for a logged in user.
Yes yes yes, cleaner forum for the win
