When installing themes from the ACP, do I upload the zipped folder or I should opent eh zip folder first.
If using FTP, into which folder do i dump the theme folder?

You have to upload one file to your /images and other in ACP (.xml file). So actually if you download some theme named "MyBBTheme" you will see two files in .zip folder. One folder called "MyBBTheme" and one MyBBTheme.xml... First upload to your /images and other to ACP. But be sure you uploaded your folder named for example "MyBBTheme" with folder not the files from it, because then you will make big mess in your images folder
