Hi there,
I've been through the forums and looked online and I have not been able to find the answers I'm looking for about posting recent threads or posts on the home page of this site: http://www.ijustmetu.com. Or any page, for that matter. The closest I have come is this post: http://community.mybb.com/post-591191.html
That's good, but I'm getting errors when trying to syndicate.
This is the syndication link it's giving me: http://ijustmetu.com/index.php?page_id=6...9&limit=15
And this is what it looks like when I actually go to that link: http://ijustmetu.com/forum-2/?zforum=syn...n&limit=15
And so the other question is how to get it to display on the page I want it on. I was hoping to find some way to use a shortcode. I'm stumped.

I'm a little confused, though. I chose the recent posts forum, and followed these instructions:
Installation. First unzip the mod package and ftp the inc folder inside to the root of your forum folder preserving the structure intact. Then to configure it go to your Acp->Configuration->Settings->Forum Home Options. Scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see 2 extra settings added. One is to turn the plugin on/off and the other to decide how many posts you would like to show at the Recent Posts Stats Box.

But I don't see the settings to turn the plugin on and see how many posts to show.
I installed the inc folder in plugins->zingiri-forum. Is that correct?

You have to place the plugin php file inside inc > plugins folder, not in any subfolder inside this.
After that goto:
ACP > Configurations > Plugins and you will see the plugin name in the list. Hit 'activate' at right side of it.
Next, goto ACP > Configurations > Settings and find the listing for the name of the just activated plugin. When you will find it out - click on the name for further settings screen.

Remember, place the plugin php right inside the inc > plugins folder. Not in any subfolder within 'plugins' else it will not appear in ACP.

Okay, I'm really sorry, I'm usually a lot more savvy about these things.
I see two inc folders, one in the general zingiri-forum folder, and one in the mybb folder. Which inc folder am I supposed to use?
My next question, is, do I just put the php file in there? And is it supposed to be named recentpostsindex.php, because that is all I see.

1. 'zingiri' one is for making a crossbid platform. the inc folder inside your MyBB installation dir is the correct place.
2. I didn't open the exact plugin file, but it should be exactly like that what you have described, unless the plugin contains multiple files to include (like additional ACP modules, language files etc).
