Let me put it this way: XRumer is a spammer utility that leaves very obvious traces of its existence in your web server logs. Spamming is illegal, so that should say enough. See this robot page on Risky Internet for more info.

I know what xRumer is, I used to have it for purposes of keeping my site from getting blown up by it, back when I ran blogs.
