Worried about InstantMybb, Spork? Site looks good, you obviously know what you're doing. Something that has bugged me, however, is when you go to the forum it opens in a new tab. You should make the design of the forum seamless, and have it open in the same tab.

I wouldn't say I'm worried per-say, it's more of trying to compete I would actually be interested in discussing techniques with him. As a developer, I be wondering how others do it compared to me.

I can adjust that, thanks. The idea was so you could visit the external site without leaving the main site. I'm not sure how many people use that tab though.

But you can only advertise ones powered by MyBB

I definitely recommend Icyboards. The service is very speedy, and Icyboards gives you a plethora of ways to customize your forum (unlike many other free forum hosts).

Best free forum host I've ever used. My forum is hosted with them now.

I've been using IB for over 10 months and I recommend IB to everyone who wants to start a Free Forum.
