Is there a website or alternative to free plugins that I can buy to help with the spam? I want to spam-proof my website. So is there any type of download I can buy to stop the spamming? I dont mind purchasing.. We all know free stuff doesnt do the job 100% and will always have probs

That's like saying MyBB has problems. Free is fine, and opensource tools are used by huge companies, so don't be afraid when using free tools/scripts

I would like to let you know however for future reference that you will never get rid of spammers. They are always going to be there. What can stop the bots, might not always stop the manual spammers who don't use bots.

Neither paid stuff blocks spam 100%. A lot of today's spammers are humans sitting behind the PC, you cannot block humans, they'll get past it obviously.

You can reduce spam but never stop it. Just have a good staff and some good add-ons if you want, as others mentioned.

Also have email verification turned on, it helps a lot. Human spammers will get past through it though, but automated bots will be mostly blocked by it.
