Hi all,
I accidentally messed up the permissions on all the folders in my forums...
Is there a way to "reset' the permissions to the right ones?
Or is there a list of what they all should be?

Do you mean the CHMOD permissions? if so look here

Just set all the Permissions manually.
There is no method to RESET, just repalce those file-folders with original mybb files/folder.
BE SURE TO MAKE A BACKUP FIRST!

But i tried it on a test folder in cPanel & it works

I was not aware that re-uploading files resets the CHMOD permissions,I can't see how it would to be honest. I set them as per the documentation just to be safe.
Resetting to defaults means all files & folder permissions become as per server config.
