Hello, my forum http://to-hawaii.com/forums/ has a problem with stopforumspam.com plugin. When the Check IP is on it block many users who are not spammers. I receive many complains about people not being able to register. When I turn the Check IP off then I get tons of spam. Is there a known fix for this problem or is there other plugin that I can use isnead? I use 1.4.9 version of the software. thanks.

I have set the confidence level at 40% and have no problems - the spammers are kept out.

Go to your admin cp - configuration - board settings - Stop Forum Spam Check (4 Settings)

Don't check spammers based on IPs.
