Now I like to support charity in real life but half the time, I don't have the money. Now I thought of adding a membership which gives people some extra features but the money goes to charity. This can be done through Just Giving to avoid any sort of scamming. Anyway, do you do anything similar on your forum and did it turn out alright if you did? Are you thinking of doing it if you haven't yet?

That only works if you really offer something special. More signature size or the ability to receive more PMs, for example, is not really worth it most of the times. Only for big forums. If you have some unique features that only the premium accounts would get, then yes, it might be a good idea.

I have got some planned, not looking in to offering it straight away until I get some steady activity but i'm sure I would be able to make it work somehow.
