Very, very nice software also. Kudos to the developers.
I believe in giving proper credit to the creators and don't see why people want to mess with the copyrights all the time. They work hard to produce a great software - why not let them have the credit they deserve.
At least the Powered by is still there.
I was wondering, alot of the bb companies are allowing people to remove the version number [keep ALL copyright info on except v. number]. Can we do the same with Mybb? [i had done a search for copyright and couldn't find one that answered this question btw.]

I would think that removal of the version number would be fine, I do it to most of my forums. Some people tend to install alot of hacks and skins with major changes in them, and simply do not wish to upgrade their forums minus security patches. Having the version number shown can better identify to a potential hacker exploits that are know to that version in this case.
Just my two cents.
k776 is correct on what the copyright should look like at a minimum.
