Well, I figured this out, if you edit any template with {} it doesn't save and deletes it.

Such as this:

{$subforum}

Save it:

{}

Please help.

Most probably you are using Icyboards.

In that case, there are specific variables which are blacklisted, means they are not safe according to the Icyboards blacklist.

To unlock a variable, please post the variables names here:
