Where are you wanting the icons to be added (& which icons?) & which plugins do you want installed?

Your request is rather ambiguous. What are the "basics" that you need? I mean, plugins are all well and good, but it depends what the purpose is. I can't go installing plugins left, right and centre without an idea of what you want. Although I'm not a coder or a theme designer I do know my way around MyBB, so with a better idea of the job I'd probably be willing to help out.
