this is on this board yet all my PM's are not new in the box
Okey, let me explain. New 1 means you have 1 new message within the login period you have. If you log out and log in again it won't show any new. It's just a indicator that you have had a new message within the log in period.
I tried logging out its been saying NEW 1 for 3 mths even after all messages are read or not new
and it never changes to 2.3.4.5.6.7.8 and so on it remains always at 1

Which is correct.
Maybe your cookies isn't updating? Might cause it.
That new PM counter is to be removed in the next major version because of the confusion this causes. >.>
