Ability to send a truncated email summary of forum activity to user based on user preference for time period reported, and for forums covered.

Perhaps reporting options/frequency available to user can be governed by administrator, based on number of subscribers & server load.

A few attempts at a plugin to do elements of this under MyBB 1.6X have been tried, but none appear to work consistently - or in fact at all.

I like this idea! It'd help to engage more people in your forum instead of manually sending out mass emails every now and again.

For those that can't imagine how this system would work, signup for any social media and they'll send you a little wrap-up of what's been happening in your networks every week or two.

This would be a very useful feature.

If the summary could also include activity from calendars, that would be even better.
