Whenever I try to post the new smilies I added to the forum, the text replacement shows up in the post rather than the actual smilie. They appear fine in the smilies box, just not in the post when submitted or previewed. Please assist!

Ok, I registered a test account at your forum, this is what the source says.

In ACP -> Board Settings -> Change -> General Configuration
Does your Board URL have a trailing slash? If so, please remove and attempt to view a post with smilies again.

Ok. I found the problem.
Your board thinks the smilies are in your MyBB/images directory, but in fact they in the the root /images directory. Simple fix, move the smilies folder into your MyBB/images directory.
Edit: You might have to edit your smilies in the ACP to. I suspect that they have a opening / slash, which might need to be removed.
