I've just started up a website and this is my first time using mybb as the actual host (so it's my first time doing anything further than what's in the ACP), and I'm having a bit of a problem. While I can see the the forum index just fine, when I try to click any of the forums or users, it takes me to a 404 error page. I know exactly what the problem is, I just have no idea how to fix it.

For some reason, the links it's using are wrong. While the link to "The Chattery" forum should be "http://saltedthrones.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=4" (which actually does take you to the Chattery), it's using "http://saltedthrones.com/forum/forum-4.html", which takes you to a 404 page. And the same thing with the user pages.

I've been looking for hours and I can't find anything that tells me how to fix this. I'm not using seo's, which is the closest problem I've found to what I'm experiencing now. I haven't done anything on the site except upload mybb, create a few forums, and partial upload a theme, which I haven't edited yet. If anyone could help me with this, I'd be much obliged.
Rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess

Alternatively, navigate to AdminCP -> Configuration -> Server and Optimization Options -> Enable search engine friendly URLs? -> Disabled
You either have the .htaccess enabled and not a .txt file, or you enabled Google Friendly URLs, if you enabled Google Friendly URLs, either rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess to disable it in your settings.
