Hello everyone;
My hosting has an option to set PHP version. I know that PHP version 5.1.0 or above is required for mybb 1.6 but I want to know which PHP version is recommended for mybb
My host supports the following PHP versions:

1. 5.2
   
2. 5.3
   
3. 5.4
   
4. 5.5

I'd recommend you use PHP 5.3. MyBB and PHP 5.4 don't work too well together (these issues have been resolved in MyBB 1.6.10) and we haven't even tried MyBB on PHP 5.5. yet.

In other word, which version has a better effect on mybb performance and resource usage?
