A few weeks ago i had around 98 people on my ban list, i looked to day and they have all dissapeared i have just 4 now,i havent unbanned anyone and they was all set as permanent bans, so so not sure where they went.

check your admin cp in the user list and see what it says

Perhaps you have user pruning activated?

I smell what Paul said, too. I'm not sure if pruning system removes banned users too or not but either way, pruning system is flawed and it needs a lot of improvements.

i have it set so that unactivated users are deleted after 5 days.
