I have the security question mod installed and questions set up, but spammers still get through, just looking for suggestions as to what questions i should ask.
My forum is based on labradors, and the questions i have set so far are
what is the short name for labrador?
what is the original colour of the labrador?
any other suggestions much appreciated.
If it's this: http://mods.mybb.com/view/registration-s...y-question

It's known to be buggy - it doesn't stop spam bots which don't submit those fields in the first place. There was a thread about it somewhere...

There's another http://mods.mybb.com/view/signup-questions but I never tested it.
Thanks i shall give that a try,
I use this one: http://mods.mybb.com/view/registration-s...y-question and it works well. I have 5 questions and change them around once a month or if I get a spammer register.

I've been playing with images on some questions lately and they seem to be getting more wrong answers, so I assume that is more bots getting it wrong.
I have that one to and they seem to be getting through still.

No i haven't tried that one might give it ago, does it require me to register at stop forum spam or anything?

No you only need to register if you want to report spammers, though they are not issuing more API keys at the moment. I have found it to be a great help, but I don't recommend the setting to check usernames as it could block to many genuine sign ups.
So no username check, i still think i'll have a lot of sign ups, i have installed the register time plugin and still had 64 signups in the last 24 hours. not seeing any genuine signups as of yet but trying to look through 1000+ awaiting activation members takes to much time.
