Which one is better between Linux and Windows hosting?
It depends on your needs. There is no clear cut "which is better"; they are apples to oranges.
Most MyBB users use a Linux environment to host their forums, so if that is your goal then look for Linux web hosting.
Unless you're running a site in ASP or something, the best choice would be Linux generally.
