Well even when you use that it does not show up iam so frustrated i have uploaded the files and updated them and the new db. Whats wrong?
can anyone help me please? The web host told me to talk to the developer
The only issue i could think of is that i used the the latest db (mysql) backup and with a older backup of the files/ registry could this have caused the issue?
How can i fix it if i cant login. Also do you have any idea about the broken theme and pages coming up with 404 errors.

This the exact error i get on some of my links
For the cookies you can save them in inc/settings.php by changing
$settings['cookiedomain']
$settings['cookiepath']
$settings['cookieprefix']
Before you do that though, what was your original domain at?
Was it
http://www.cricketlife.net/kriketlife/
or
http://www.cricketlife.net
My assumption is that your old domain was cricketlife.net and therefore you must move your files out of the /kriketlife directory and into the root directory "public_html/"
For example, it should be public_html/inc/ or public_html/settings.php
The original domain is in the subdirectory and i have kept it that way. I think the problem is that i used a new "mysql backup" with an old directory "backup". What do you think?

Are you saying you used a old backup of your site with a newer version of the database.
If so, then yes, I believe that would cause some errors.
Is it just images that are presenting 404 errors, or links as well.
If it is images, you can try reinstalling your theme as some of the images are missing from your /images directory.
However, in a sense, you don't really need to do a full reinstall of the theme, but simply add the files from the theme into the directory which they are supposed to be in.
Can you provide a link example which results in a 404 error?
"Are you saying you used a old backup of your site with a newer version of the database."
Yes thats what iam saying & it is just link you can see my whole site by going here the dns has not fully propogated so you have to use this:
http://anonymouse.org/cgi-bin/anon-www.c...riketlife/
You can see if you click the links on the top it come up with a 404 error
Also the theme was completely gone before but the person at my hosting said he did this:
Hello,
I just changed the BBurl in the settings.php. I believe there are some more settings needs to be updated to reflect the correct URL. As I'm not an MyBB expert I'm not entirely sure about the configuration files, that's why I was referring to contact an expert on this. The MyBB url in /cricketl/public_html/kriketlife/inc/settings.php has been updated with correct MyBB path, that's why it's working I believe.
Thats why i'am contacting you
The reason the top links return a 404 error, is because they are under your root directory public_html
for example...
http://cricketlife.net/misc.php?action=payments
It should be http:/cricketlife.net/kriketlife/misc.php?action=payments
As for the images, they are still missing. For example, the logo is missing because there is no image file located at
http://cricketlife.net/kriketlife/images/city/logo.png
You must replace the missing files.
Are the users still unable to login or has that been fixed?
The person you talked to simply changed the configuration file and potentially added the correct path. You still need to replace the theme files if they went missing or were deleted.
