So, me and my friend were trying to run a Backup copy of our Forum on a reseller account. We installed default MyBB Files, then imported database.

We edited and set the cookies using settings.php and changed the CHMOD values to make sure that it was working well.

But, when we try to login, we can't login. Just returns us to index.php, unlogged. It doesn't allow us. We have tried deleting settings.php to make it work, but still we are not able to login.

Help's appreciated. I'm sorry, we don't want to link our Forum in public.

Don't edit them manually in settings.php unless they aren't working to begin with, you need to edit them in the ACP because the ACP will overwrite the settings file every time it's updated.
