How can I change my /showthread.php?tid=68 to the Post name in the URL?

Now it is showing www.mywebsite.com/showthread.php?tid=68 in the address bar. I would like to change it to
www.mywebsite.com/Forum-Name

OR

www.mywebsite.com/Thread-Name

Please assist...

I try to change the following settings by it is not working.

Server and Optimization Options >> Enable search engine friendly URLs? >> Enable.

When I do this settings I am getting File Not found error.

I merged mybb forum from Phbb........

after that you have to use relevant .htaccess file for the rewrite rules.
rename htaccess.txt file available at your forum's folder to .htaccess

or you can disable SEF URLs provided by MyBB and use Google SEO plugin
it also requires .htaccess file and it is provided along with plugin files
Not all the paged are coming with forum-31.html forum-27.html how can change it with Forum Title or Thread Title?
^ disable that SEF URLs and use Google SEO plugin
I install Google SEO plugin but still I am not able to activate it.....

Do I have to do anything special to activate it?
^ it requires plugin library
This is what I have done... See the Screen shots.....
