Concerning:

I activated the plugin and added my advertisement code, but it doesn't seem to appear anywhere.
I also looked into the sourcecode of the pages but it's not there either.
Apparently the plugin doesn't hook into the templates properly or injects the add code as it should.

Could anyone help me with this or suggest a plugin that does the job?

its author has a new version for that plugin at his own site. may be that works
