I am running version 1.6.9.
I am trying to replace the other captchas that do not seem to keep the spammers out with keyCAPTCHA, however I am having issues with it being recognized. Even though I have set the settings for keyCAPTCHA, reCAPTCHA continues to override. How can I get keyCAPTCHA to be recognized?

Did you change recaptcha to keycaptcha at settings>General configuration?
* It's better to open support ticket at keycaptcha.com private area
you can use recaptcha instead of another.
set default recatcha in ACP and get key from
http://www.google.com/recaptcha
then fill your key in recaptcha feild.
you are done. it will help you to secure your site from spammers.
@SPD There is no selection for keyCaptcha in the pulldown.
@stuart I was using recaptcha, but it is not stopping the spammers.
